Welcome to the Fox Valley
Newcomer Project Community Map!
The data used to create this map was gathered from January-May 2025.
This map shows the organizations and services in the Fox Valley
which support immigrants and refugees as they resettle in the area.
Each sector shows what is available and reflects the perspectives of
Newcomers as well as organizations.
A "Newcomer" is a person or family who has moved to the Fox Valley or the United States in the past 5-10 years and is learning and adjusting to the main languages and cultures of our region.

18% of organizations that responded provide legal services.
Newcomer Legal Background
Community, state, and federal laws provide the rules that address many areas in our communities and lives. Would you like to know more about the law in any of these areas:
Are you or members of your family working to sponsor or support family members from home to move here?
Are you connected with a legal advocate or lawyer who is supporting you with this process?
Learning about the Law
Community, state, and federal law provide the rules that address many areas in our communities and lives. We asked Newcomer respondents which areas they would like to know more about. The top areas of interest are driving, immigration, taxes, and employment.
Legal Services
Citizenship classes remain an unmet request for 11% of our Newcomer respondents. CAP Services and Refuge Church are planning to expand their services for this support.
The need for Immigration and Green Card navigation decreased significantly from last year (55% of respondents) to this year (7% of respondents). Organizations that reported support with immigration are Hope & Help Together, CAP Services, Casa Hispana, Menasha Joint School District, World Relief, and Refuge Church .
